HALLOWEEN LANDING PAGE KIT FOR WORDPRESS
gauravtiwari.org/halloween-landing-page-wordpress/

WHAT'S INSIDE
1. halloween-landing-page-pattern.json
The full page as a WordPress pattern. Import it once and reuse it on any page.
2. halloween-landing-page-blocks.html
The same page as block markup, for pasting into the Code editor.
3. optional-countdown-block.html
An optional Custom HTML block with a countdown that hides the offer buttons
after your deadline. Use it only for a real deadline.

REQUIREMENTS
- WordPress with the block editor and a block theme. Built and tested on
Twenty Twenty-Five. Other block themes work, but fonts and spacing follow the theme.
- No plugins. Every section uses core blocks: Cover, Group, Columns, Heading,
  Paragraph, List, Buttons and Details.
- The countdown needs a user who can add Custom HTML with scripts (an Administrator
  on a single site).

IMPORT THE PATTERN (RECOMMENDED)
1. Go to Appearance > Editor > Patterns (or Appearance > Patterns on a classic theme).
2. Click the + button (Add Pattern) and choose "Import from JSON".
3. Select halloween-landing-page-pattern.json and click Import.
4. Create a new page, open the block inserter, choose Patterns > My patterns and
   insert "Halloween Landing Page".
5. In the page sidebar, set Template to "Page No Title" so the hero headline is the
   only H1 on the page.

OR PASTE THE MARKUP
1. Create a new page.
2. Open Options (the three dots) > Code editor.
3. Paste the full contents of halloween-landing-page-blocks.html.
4. Click "Exit code editor".

BEFORE YOU PUBLISH
- Replace every [bracketed] value. Search the page for "[" to catch the last one.
- Replace https://example.com/replace-with-your-checkout-link with your real
  checkout, product or signup URL.
- Make the dates, timezone, prices and refund terms match what your checkout
actually charges. A countdown never ends a discount on its own.
- Check the page on a phone before you share the link.

ADD THE COUNTDOWN (OPTIONAL)
1. Add a Custom HTML block under the hero buttons.
2. Paste optional-countdown-block.html into it.
3. Change data-deadline to your end time with its UTC offset, for example
   2026-10-31T23:59:00-04:00 for 11:59 p.m. US Eastern on October 31.
4. Change data-ended to the sentence visitors should see after the deadline.
After the deadline the timer shows that sentence and hides every button that has
the class hlp-offer-cta. The template's offer buttons already carry that class.
